In a choir, it is a necessity that every member of the group have a clear view of the conductor.  For that reason, the conductor of a men's choir group needed a portable conductor stand unit to elevate himself closer to the eye level of the singers in the back row.

The choir practices and performs at a local church that has an existing built-in wooden choir riser system at the front of the church.

The conductor is shown, at left, standing on a custom T-shaped FeatherBlock unit that provides ample space for both the music stand as well as the conductor.  The custom T-shaped design allows the conductor to move front-to-back and side-to-side.  The unit shown in the picture is 8ft in width and 8in high.  The T-shaped unit is comprised of three 4ft x 4ft x 8in FeatherBlock modules.  This project is an example of a custom design.
